// Always snapping pics of my city. I love the foggy weather. //
// Quick trip to Iowa City to see some of my most favorite people on the planet. And I forgot how FUN it is to be at a Big Ten game. //
// Too pretty not to share //
// Reminiscing on the incredible concerts I’ve seen here—Fitz & the Tantrums, Ingrid Michaelson, Eric Hutchinson, Matt Nathanson //
// The (stupid) free dog (read: junk) I got years ago that my brother and I hide in each other’s beds as a sneaky sibling game. So you can imagine the smile on my face when I came home for the first time in seven weeks and found this guy hidden behind my pillow. //
// Words can’t describe my joy as I ventured back to my ultimate favorite spot in DSM—Horizon Line Coffee. //

Woah. October 6-10th flew. I never thought those days would come, but now they’ve come and gone. It was surreal to be back in the only place I’ve ever called home, the place where I learned so much about myself, relationships, and how to love. While most things were still the same and it still felt like home, something felt a bit different. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but now I know: it’s me. I am a different person than when I moved to Dallas on August 15th. And I’m so happy about it. I’ve grown in more ways than I could’ve expected, and I’m so proud of myself for making that leap. xx
