Sometimes it takes losing to know how precious winning is, how easy it is to take victorious moments for granted. Losing can send you into a state of shock, and I guess that comes along more with love than anything else.
As contrary as it may seem, I think it’s good to lose every once in a while, to feel the utter chaos of trying to grasp onto something inside yourself. It’s healthy; it’s how we grow. How else would we know what beautiful, rich things we have in our lives? Not everything is forever, and we wouldn’t know that if we didn’t experience losing something, or even harder, someone, close to our hearts.
