“pure bliss” is laughing from your belly with your best friend.
“pure bliss” is divulging in the best pancakes you’ve ever had.
“pure bliss” is looking into someone’s eyes and knowing they feel the same way.
“pure bliss” is dancing around your room to your new fave jam.
“pure bliss” is feeling groovy in the outfit you pulled together for the day.
“pure bliss” is raising your arms above your head after you climbed a mountain in 95 degree weather.
“pure bliss” is getting an A on a test you thought you failed.
“pure bliss” is receiving a bear hug when you need it the most.
“pure bliss” is feeling the warm wind whip your hair around your car with the windows rolled down.
“pure bliss” is discovering what you want to do in this life.
“pure bliss” is hearing your favorite song on the radio.
“pure bliss” is loving what you do and doing what you love.
But Pure Bliss is a little different.
Pure Bliss is a culmination of all the “pure bliss” moments, whether they be big or small, that transform a simple second in time from ordinary to extraordinary in the blink of an eye. Whether we know it or not, we all have things that make us happy, but a lot of people don’t realize that it’s not only the big things that are note worthy.
This blog is a place for me to not only share the things that make me happy, but the things that I like, and the way I like them. You don’t like what’s on here? Then please, feel free to ex out of this window faster than cat that got electrocuted by a mousetrap (I love cats so that was a hard analogy for me to publish). But if for one second you found yourself intrigued by anything on this site, then I encourage you to check back, or better yet, share what you love, too. Maybe something I say or share will inspire you to do the same, and maybe, one by one, all the “pure bliss” moments in our lives will overcome the bad, the negative, and the evil.
I want to make one thing clear before I continue any further: This isn’t a place for me to brag, and it’s not a place for me to post pictures of expensive things. Because let me tell you right now—I like what I like and I don’t apologize for it. Modern, antique, sleek, vibrant, black and white, 70s, boho-chic, extravagant, simple, sweet, edgy, classy, glamorous, under rated, lofty, acoustic, alternative, soft, artsy, metallic . . . that’s what I like, and I don’t care if 50 people or 50,000,000 people like it too.
Another important point to make clear: I’m not devoting my time to this blog for my parents, or my grandparents, or a teacher, or my friends, or for a project—I’m putting time into it for me. This is my creative outlet, and there’s not outline or formula; it is what it is.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for letting me share the things that bring me Pure Bliss.
